Requirements

In order to keep Bark Louisville a fun and safe environment, all kids must meet the following requirements:

Temperament Evaluation

All new kids must pass an on-site temperament evaluation. Since all dogs are off-leash and cage-free in the play areas, aggressive or toy-possessive dogs are not accepted. Temperament evaluations are conducted by Bark Louisville staff on your kid’s first visit. Bark Louisville staff would kindly appreciate a phone call or email prior to your dog’s first stay.

Up-To-Date Vaccinations

All dogs must be up-to-date on current vaccinations including:

• DHPP
• Rabies
• Bordetella
• Canine influenza

Bark Louisville must receive proof of current vaccinations in conjunction with your kid’s first stay. You or your vet may email proof of vaccinations to barklouisville@barklouisville.com.

Veterinarian-Approved Flea Control

All dogs must be on a veterinarian-approved form of topical flea control. Acceptable products include:

• Frontline or Frontline Plus
• Advantage or K-9 Advantage
• Revolution
• Other, as recommended by your veterinarian

Heartworm Control

All dogs must be on heartworm control. Acceptable products include:

• Heartguard or Heartgard Plus
• Revolution
• Other, as recommended by your veterinarian

Neutered Males & Females Not In Heat

All male dogs over one year old must be neutered and all unaltered females must not be in heat (estrus).
